Dyson Animal 2 - Spittinh our dust onto ball

My dyson animal 2 vacuum is spitting out dust when I vacuum onto the ball. It is going into the canister but it also is going onto the bottom of the vacuum and the ball. I am not the best at vacuuming but know for a fact my floors doesn’t have that much dirt and sand on them.
