How to get rid of stuck pixels?

I recently replaced a totally smashed front panel on an iphone 3g and brilliantly it works(thanks ifixit) but it has a few 'stuck' pixels. There's always 2 or 3 blue dots in the middle of the screen (sometimes a few green ones too).

Is there any possibility this could be easily fixed?

I should probably inform that it has been used for iphone football when my brother in-law decided to upgrade his smashed screen 3g to an iphone 4. But it was in an otter box. This seems to be it's only problem apart from short battery life and a slightly loose bezel.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

have you tried a hard reset? press and hold the power and home button for 10 seconds until apple appears then allow to reboot. if this doesn't work then open it up and check connector 1 is in place/replace.

If the pixels are always in the same spot then it may be damaged LCD, depends on how much the dead pixels annoy you as to whether you leave them or replace the lcd..

they change fairly often so hopefully not the LCD. Have to take it apart to fit new rear case and bezel, will check the connector.
