What's wrong with a washing machine that stops spinning
I had a load of clothes in tell washing machine washing when all of a sudden it stopped spinning and started making weird noise

Cause 1
Drive Belt
Inspect the drive belt to determine if it is broken or if it is loose on the pulleys. If the drive belt is broken or loose, replace it.
