does my car have an egr or egr valve on it anywhere

I was told some model years have egr & egr valves bolted to the intake. I need to know if my 99 has an egr valve or not.

@lakeywilson2017 EGR valve is on the back side of the engine between the upper intake plenum and the fire wall and to the left of the master brake cylinder. Here is the location for the 2.2L engine

should be pretty much identical for other engine size as well.

3.1L

I have had my L'il 'Bu for 2 years now (she's also a '99) and only just noticed this week upon replacing my fuel injectors, fuel rail, and fuel pressure regulator that there was no egr valve in sight. Replaced my oil pressure switch last summer and don't recall seeing one then either. EGR valve must not be that important if we have gone 2 years and 120,000 miles and she's never had one.
