MacBook Pro The felt stripes at the CD/DVD entrance

I spilled juice that has a lot of sugar on the entrance of CD/DVD.

After a month, I realized that the felt parts became hard because of the sugar became solid.

When CD is come out from inside mac, it stuck.

Is it possible for me to change the felt parts?

Or should I need to replace the upper case itself??

Or is it problem if I just take off the felt part?

Tell me all tools and replacement parts I need.

If it were me, I'd just rip the felt off and use caution when inserting a disk otherwise your looking at a lot of expense.

Thanks. But is it ok to use disk drive without felt?

The felt helps guide the disk into place and keeps dirt out. If you use care inserting the disks you will avoid scratching them.
