I cracked Iphone when dropped , I had a black screen so I turned my phone off using the power and home screen buttons since then I haven't been able to turn it back on. When I get my new screen installed will I be able to turn my phone on

have you tried plugging it into a pc/laptop to see if itunes recognises it, if it doesnt then theres a chance that theres something else wrong, so no 1 can say for sure if a new screen will make the phone come back on again

No I haven’t tried that yet
I plugged my phone into a portable charger and appears to be charging. So is there a chance that is just the screen
Could be just screen, but you should be plugging it into a computer and check on iTunes to see if it detects it to be sure the phone actually works.

I plugged it into a pc and iTunes detected the phone
