My 55 inch Samsung flat screen won't turn on red power lights on
I unplug and try turning it on and sometimes it turns on and sometimes not may take up to 2 weeks before coming on

@kelly1972 this sounds very much like a bad power board. You will have to let us know what exact model your TV is. Unplug your set, remove the back and take lots of pictures of the layout of all the boards and the individual boards. Post those pictures with your question. Use this guide for that Adding images to an existing question That will allow us to see what you see. Once we have a proper model number and can see the boards, we can most likely guide you to where and how-to checking things out. You will at least have to have a multimeter for this.
