I followed all instructions to the T.
The taking apart, removing the battery and putting in the new one was laborious and time consuming but directions were good.
My complaint was with the reassembly. “Just do everything in reverse” did not work for me.
There needed to be way more instruction on just how to get all of those cable connections lined up and securely in place.
It took hours. Definitely would not recommend to a friend.

It can be slightly tricky, and if you need tips and tricks you're always welcome to ask in this space.
Those cables and screws can be a pain, but it's very doable. Once you do it several more times you eventually figure out what works best for you.
To reinstall the cables I have to slight angle the LCD down just to reduce stress pull on the cables, since I know how sensitive they are (from experience). The screws on the plate, I typically install the 3 similar screws first to lock in place, then work on the other two while holding the display with my other hand.
Anyways, great job getting the job done!
Note that, with regard to the metal plate that goes over the cable connections, make sure the screws go back in the same holes they were taken from. Pay attention to the top right screw. It should not be attracted to a magnetized screw driver. This is necessary to prevent interference with the compass.

Please look trough this guide and and type which cable you can't fit or just look trough and try to find the mistake.
