Unable to flash OS (DFU to Recovery Mode issues)

Hi,

Someone has given me a iPhone 6s that just flashes the white apple logo.

I have plugged it into the PC and opened iTunes for it to restore and left it hanging overnight on 'preparing phone'

I've opened 3uTools and it gets to 11% on Error the device could not be disconnected as well as I've had error on rebooting from DFU to Recovery mode.

Can anyone suggest any ideas?
