Phone signal come back

So it hasn’t worked for a while now, when I first bought it I opened it up and the little fabric that goes over the antenna was off so I moved it back to the correct place and it started working again for a while but then stopped again.

Anyways... my phone was annoying me just now and I smacked it off my knee several times with force and my signal has come back lol. Does this mean there’s something loose in my phone?

Ps.. my WiFi works fine but is weak (goes down and back up from 2 bars to full bars constantly)

Smacking electronics is never a good idea...even if it feels so satisfying.

In your case, it confirms that your phone is probably suffering from the dreaded "Searching" problem. This is caused by some partially broken copper traces on the logic board, underneath the Baseband IC. This IC is responsible for the communications side of the phone. Ironically, this problem occurs because of repeated drops, impacts and twisting.

The only way to repair it is to do a micro-soldering repair. This is not a DIY repair. Look for a reputable repair shop that specializes in this kind of repair. They need to add "long jumpers" on the U1 & V1 pins otherwise the phone will fail again in the near future.
