Amazon firestick remote, randomly stops working, then works again

Well I just wanted to say it does work for a few min, then, freezes. I wait 1-2 min then it works. Brand new battery.. Even factory reset the stick..

PLOT TWIST: I can use my cellphone Amazon firestick app and it works flawlessly..

Nope. I just stopped using the fire stick and found other ways to watch Prime video. I have a Nvidia Shield now
