My classic ipod get locked permanently i.e. it is not getting unlocked using hold button. Although it is working if I connect with compuiter BUT cann't play any song since keypad is locked.It shows keylock button on topleft screen.

You may have to replace the switch. The switch has a little tab that connects into the slider notch, see if it came out and/ or slide it over with a small instrument. Check on here and select your ipoda and look for the headphone jack/hold button switch. iPod Good Luck and let us know if it works.
