screen wont stay on

my screen wont stay on for more than a few seconds, then it goes off. How do I keep it on longer? I will take this back and get a refund id I cant keep the screen to stay on longer

Check the sleep timeout setting:

Go to:

Settings -> Device -> Display -> Sleep
