My Senseo is just model 7810, no other numbers or letters.

I am trying to remove the boiler to get at the switches but none of the dozens of sites on You Tube show my model or the way the boiler is attached. The only fastener on mine is what appears to be a little clip on the top of the boiler but I see no way of “unclipping” it.

Help.

No, this is not the way mine is held in. There are none of those clips on mine, just a wedge shaped catch on the top of the plastic boiler. It looks like you should be able to spring in loose with a screwdriver but there is a web of plastic in the center of the wedge that prevents that. I pulled on the boiler pretty hard but it won’ t come out and I don’t want to break anything.

Hi @abbypumpkin ,

Looking at this ifixit guide the "clip" above the boiler is actually a type of nylon cable tie that needs to be cut with scissors or a sharp blade for it to be removed. See Step.5 in the guide. Perhaps yours is the same
