How do I delete Gallery app photos locked by Google Chrome?

I have an app on my Galaxy Tab4 called "Gallery". There are 100s of photos there that appear to be "locked" or "protected" by Google Chrome because each one has a Google icon at the bottom left side.

There is NO option to delete these photos as long as they are marked that way. How do I get rid of that icon so that I can delete all of them?
