Battery stains on my MacBook Pro 2015

I gave it to an authorized service center and they told me that my MacBook has had liquid damage so they have to change the logic board because it had corrosion on it. They also told me they had to change the battery because there is liquid stains on it.

My question is do I have to replace the battery if it has stains on it can’t I just replace the logic board and get on with my MacBook

I say if the battery still works and it is not swollen then I would not replace it.

Sure post images of both the batt and the logic board. Post an answer to post using the picture icon on the right in the menu bar.

How wet did it get and what was it if you know.
