no backlight after screen replacement

Hello friend, i have a big problem to solve...

i have no backlight with an iPad Pro 12.9 after screen replacement..

new screen was working well just replaced but after 1 month i opened again an when i closed no BACKLIGHT..

Looking motherboard under microscope around lcd connector i maybe i found the problem.. it seems than missing a component ( signed in the pic )..

now if the problem is there i dindn’t know where to find than component.. i didn’t find any schematics.. can i find that in another iPad model? O where i can buy a new one?

Thanks so much!!!

Those square components are Common Mode Chokes. Every device has them on the display connector although they tend to have different values from one device to another. If you look at page 43 of the iPad Air 2 schematic, you will see the EDP_DATA_EMI lines that have the chokes on them. They are probably pretty similar to what is in the iPad Pro. You could try one of those from a donor board or order some from DigiKey.

In theory you could also jump them to see if this solves your problem although this may allow some spurious noise to get through.
