Why can I move cursor on finger pad but unable to click on programs

I am able to move cursor on finger pad but unable to click on programs or icons to open doesn't respond to click or double click please help Thanks

Hi @racerx009 ,

What OS is installed in the laptop?

Try connecting a USB mouse and check if that works OK.

Have you checked in "Device Manager" that the touchpad is installed properly?
