99 grand am 2.4 starting problems

I tried to start it after work and battery light came on.. it started though. Forgot something turned off went inside then nothing at all. Sometimes it'll click sometimes it'll try and crank.. it will start after getting jumped but as soon as cables come off it dies. I've temporarily been driving with jumper cables from my battery under the hood running to another battery in the backseat but once I run out of charge it dies. Alternator was tested good. Could this be a relay or fuse of somesort?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Have you tried replacing with a new battery? The altenator charges the battery, the battery starts your car. An old mechanics tricks is while the car is running, diconnect the battery. If the car dies its the altenator, if it stays running its the battery. Could be a silonoid, or starter as well. Taking it in for testing and service is sometimes the best option. Hope this helped.

We've tried several different batteries all which show full charge .. none grand new. But if it were the start or solenoid it wouldn't dtart5 at all even with a new battery right?
