iPhone 6 cannot find any wifi networks

Hi I have an iphone 6 that cant find any wifi networks. Following the guides on ifixit, i replaced both the top antenna and the bottom wifi antenna under the logic board, but still it does not find any networks. I have reset the phone first of course and tried airplane mode, disabling/re-enabling wifi...etc. It has a network address in the about section. LTE works fine too; is there anything else left I can do?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

When did this problem appear? Was the phone dropped, submerged in water, etc?

Not to my knowledge, i am fixing this for a coworker but she says none of those things happened, it just stopped working one day. Also the screen is not cracked nor any other damage that I can see... I suppose there must be a wifi chip soldered onto the logic board that can fail perhaps? The interesting part is it has a wifi address, it just wont pick up any networks. So im just wondering if there are any other parts or fixes to try?

This may take some time but I would disassemble what you have repaired and check the antenna ports to make sure you did not accidentally damage the port on the logic board. I have done it and it still works but not every one is lucky . iFixit suggests cleaning the grounding locations as finger oils can prevent the grounding and thus you would have this issue. If you are doing this for a water damage phone make sure there are no signs of corrosion on the Logic board or the case where.

Thanks for the replies, but remember I only took the phone apart because wifi and Bluetooth didn't function from the getgo, so I did not damage the logic board or anything, replacing the antennas simply didn't fix the original problem. There I no damage to the phone water or physical whatsoever so something else must be going on, I was hoping there was some other fix or thing to try.

In any event I returned the phone back to the owner, shes just going to sell it on ebay as not working.
