Aftermath of replacing battery

Ive recently replaced my battery, DIY style, and after, before putting it all back together, I checked to see of it would come on. It did, but the screen display has white lines on it now-

_this isnt my phone but thats kind of what it looks like, so i went back in and checked to see if i put everything back together right..made sure i heard clicks when i assembled it, and it still had the same display. I even held the power and home button down together, and that did nothing. Now the phone works-I can tell because I put my finger on the home button, it buzzes as if its telling me to reposition it to unlock. Also, if i put it on a charger, it also buzzes. Did i do something wrong? Is this a common thing? Should I take it to the apple store and see if they can fix it?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Your LCD isn't plugged in all the way. Disconnect the battery, disconnect all cables. Reconnect in the reverse order and you'll be good.

Tripple check the cables for the screen, that they are properly placed, if they are you'll need a new screen.

I have seen this problem and had this problem in my shop.. its either the cables or the screen that got broken.
