not sure what your wanting here? are you wanting to move the storage from one phone to the other?

by

Ah. hes saying he wants to take the 64 GB from his 5 and put it in his iphone 6, which has only 16GB. I think he wants a chip transfer. Not sure its possible.

I read an article where in China its very common a everyday thing. They remove the internal flash storage replace it with up to 128gb and re-flash (program) it so it operates as if it was native to it. the charge is $35 - $90 and they will do it in 30-60mins.

@captainsnowball does he want to change the chip or the whole logic board?

by

@sundaydriver yes this is possible if you have the ability to solder in the chip and if you have the ability to flash the chip. something there able to do in china because they dont care about legality

Unless you know and have the equipment to micro solder. No. Even if you could micro solder, It probably will not work. Yeah doing more research thats a solid No. 6 is made by Sandisk and the 5 is a hynix storage

I don't think the brand has anything to do with storage. However, I think the pin configuration of the storage chips are completely different. Agreed, this will not work.

Well, at least I get the point out. I'm happy enough. =p

Thanks, the effort out weights the cost.
