Why does my controller say it’s charging when it isn’t plugged in?

HELP!!

I have taken apart my controller and found that there is an earth wire that has been broken off, where do I soulder this wire to as I have tried to earth it but when I go to another earth point on the controller the rumble strips/ vibrating pads go off until I take it off again... where should I earth this?? Thanks

maybe because illuminati is attacking o just a bug that needs to be fixed by someone that is pro in tech(just go to a hardware fixing store)

@nathanc123 post some images showing the damaged wire etc. It may help if we see what you see. Use this guide Adding images to an existing question for that.

It is most likely damaged. My Galaxy TAB did this. I don’t know if PS4 controllers themselves get updates but that might help.
