Why is my iPhone freezing and turning off and on, really often.

I have a unusual problem with my iPhone.

The thing is that my iPhone keeps freezing, so I have to turn it off and on and the screen turns black and the spinning thing shows up and then its back to normal.

I also can't update the iPhone without connecting it to Itunes and doing it there. If I try to update it by using the iPhone itself the iPhone just reboots and the updates doesn't install.

The problems that I encounter often

  • Screen keeps freezing
  • Apps won't open so I have to turn it off and on
  • I can't update the iPhone without the pc
  • The screen turns black with a spinning thing and then goes back to normal

So the big question for me is.

Does this have to do something with the battery of the iPhone or is it the logic board (motherboard).

Is this the same iPhone 7 as from your previous question (I have this iPhone 7 that won't restore)?

I would insure that you are on version 11.2 of iOS as it does correct a bug that unexpectedly restarts the device.

It could be a logic board issue but based on your previous question, it doesn't appear like the phone has been damaged or exposed to water.

This is the same iPhone my friend.

It hasn't been in contact with any water or anything else. This is very frustrating for me.

It didn't matter the firmware the bugs kept coming on any firmware.

Sounds like an battery issue. Try a replacement battery.

I have the same problem ...have replaced the battery but still the same I suspect I left it like 10 mins in the sun and this affected my motherboard
