Is it possible to replace the female USB port on the LG V410

The female USB port used for charging has now become completely useless. Is it possible to replace it yourself if you can use a soldering iron, and have done small electronics work in the past? If not, or if it’s not recommended, can I take it to the geeks at Best Buy?

Hi,

Here is a link to the ifixit guide on repairing your tablet. It is useful as it shows how to access the USB flex cable so that it can be replaced, no soldering involved!

LG G Pad 7.0 Repairability Assessment

Here is a link to suppliers of the part. It is not a recommendation to use them. It is merely shown to give an indication of the cost of the part. There may be others that will suit you better.

Hopefully this is of some help.
