Have you tried to get into BIOS and change the boot order back to what it was? You can also select the default option in BIOS to see if that changes the boot behavior.

or just clear BIOS settings

thanks DRGlowire... i will see if i can locate the cmos, i tried the jumper setting on ROG forum about the 2 sets of jumper by the memory but didnt work for me.

Hi Will,

Try this again:

“The sets are labeled JRST2001 and JRST2002 and are located very close to the user accessible memory slots on the bottom of the mother board (under the memory cards if you have those slots filled).

I shorted/jumpered across each set of points separately, meaning made a connection across the two solder points at JRST2001 with a metallic object then did the same thing with the two at JRST2002 (not from JRST2001 to JRST2002). “

You can clear the BIOS with a pin connector on the MOBO if you can't get back into the BIOS to change it back.

Or by taking out the CMOS battery for a few seconds and putting back.

Just look up how to reset BIOS on MOBO if you still haven't figured it out.
