GPS is inaccurate and won't update location

My iPhone 6s GPS will identify my initial location in map apps, but will not follow me or update and displays inaccurate location while using navigation apps. Have tried everything to reset the device, but nothing works. Help!

Are you in a car? Did you get your phone wet at some point? Are you in a rural area or in the city?

Using GPS primarily in the car in city and rural areas. Phone has never been wet. Have never had a problem with GPS signal before switching to the 6s. Tried turning off LTE, but still no improvement.

So this is a used phone then as the 6s is a few years old now. Or, you've never had it working when you bought it new?

Have you had it serviced at some point? And what for.

Scott Riggs download a simple GPS diagnostics App from places like this and test your GPS. Right now it sounds like you are having issues with your GPS IC. To possibly repair this you would require the services of a micro-solderer like @refectio or @teetopp
