Will 802.11n bluetooth board work in the 2011 MacBook Pros?

My 2011 Macbook Pro won't work with Airdrop and I believe I need Bluetooth 4 for this. Will the 802.11n bluetooth 4 board work in the 2011 models?

Here is the requirements for AirDrop: Use AirDrop to send content from your Mac. As you can see your 13" MacBook Pro 2011 is supported, review the setup info.
