Logic Board is Heating Up and Screen shows white Dots on Back

Hi,

So on my iPhone the Logic Boards gets very hot when the battery or charger is plugged in. I don’t see anything on the display of the phone but on the back of the screen I can see white dots bleed through the back of the lcd. Is it a logic board problem or a screen problem? Please help me

Have you opened up the phone to determine that the logic board is hot or are you assuming it is the logic board? If you haven't opened the phone, the best trick is to let the device cool completely and power it onto see what gets hot first. Often times, the screen is the issue.

The only way to troubleshoot is to try a known-good screen to see if the problem follows the screen or the logic board.
