Lost “setting, battery usage” after battery replacement. All else grea

Replaced battery. Reset phone. Discharged to zero multiple times over 2 months. Battery usage just states “battery uage will be available after a few minutes ”

Hey there! iFixit employee here. I just tested several batteries in benches, and I haven't seen any issues with showing usage. If you haven't already, hold the power and home buttons to do a full reset, and see if that solves the issue. If you don't have any luck with that, you may actually have some minor logic board damage.

Did you remember to make sure iOS is updated to the latest version? If not, check for iOS updates. (settings>general>software update)

Yes, I have been sure to update IOS. Just for the security updates if nothing else. The replacement battery was branded as "ifixit" and purchased at Fry's Electronics. The Apple store tech says that there is a chip in the apple battery that is not in the aftermarket. I have no idea if this is true. It is very puzzling that everthing works except the battery use indications. That is why I posted my question here.
