Won’t connect to my I watch

Thought I had lost my watch so I unpaired it. Found watch but isn’t totally disconnected and I can’t get my phone and watch to pair up.

Options

Connect the watch to the charger, then hold the power button until the power off screen comes up. Force touch and click erase. Or go to settings general reset
