creates popping sounds when I turn on my tv

i heard just recently noise coming from the fan i believe, or should i say the sound produced by the fan is becoming obvious. Then just last night I heard popping sounds that caused the picture on my tv to come off. I could still open my tv but then these popping sounds still causes my tv to affect the picture. I worried that it may explode so I just turn off my tv. May I know what causes this and can I still fix it?

@canoi it most likely will not explode but it may stop working. You want to go ahead and remove the back of your set and take a look around on the boards. See if you can determine where that noise is coming from and if there is any damage to any component. Post some images of your boards with your question so that we can see what you see. Use this guide Adding images to an existing question for that.

Right now going by the noise you are describing, this could be an issues with the caps, or MOSFET's. But we would have to see more of what the boards etc. look like.
