Hi @misterx123 ,

According to the specifications your Zenbook has 4GB DDR3L 1600 MHz SDRAM of OnBoard Memory and is capable of supporting up to 12GB of memory by inserting up to 8GB of memory in the DIMM slot, i.e. 4 + 8 =12. Just make sure that you use the same type of memory(DDR3L 1600 1.2V), otherwise it will not work.

Here is a link to a video that shows how to access the DIMM module (or slot if you only have 4GB or RAM)

@jayeff I just edited you answer a little bit. Nothing to worry about.

Hi @alexniculescu ,

You're assuming that the DIMM slot is empty. The OP asked only if the memory could be upgraded.

It might be occupied with a 2GB or 4GB module already, we don't know as it wasn't stated

@jayeff Yeaah, sure, I get it
