Replacing battery without battery adhesive strips, ok or not?

I've already bought a new battery and about to replace it into my Huawei Mate 8. I watched the video showing how to replace the battery from Youtube which mentioned that once taking out the old battery, I need to place two adhesive strips to stick the new battery into the tray. However, I don't have the strips. My question is "Can I just ignore it, and continue replacing the new battery without the strips, or I should buy stripes to make sure everything is good in the long run.

thank you.

Hi!

You could just install the new battery without the adhesive strips, I think it will still be held in place by the other components. However it may start moving around if you shake the phone if you don't stick it in there like it was.
