I replaced my power board and still nothing

It was in a power surge and it wouldn't turn on. So I thought replace the power supply. So I did. Plugged it in. Hit the power button and nothing. So could it be the main board that went bad too?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

@oldturkey03 It's a Toshiba 50L5200U. I didn't. I called around some shops and they said that's what to do. It fixed my other tv's as well so I figured it would fix this one too.

I did do the circuit breaker. I left my tv to chill out after I replaced the power supply because it wouldn't turn on. Now I decided to try to fix it. So anyone have ideas?

You may have already done this, but did you check the circuit breaker? due to the surge it may have tripped. I believe outlet circuits are 15amps. so the switch should have a 15

I’ve had this same problem. If the TV was surged then more than likely the whole thing is beyond repair, that is if you are willing to end up paying more than the original TV price for repairs.
