restart loop after chassis replacement

Hi,

I had a customer who dropped his 5s which crushed one of the corners too far in for an easy screen replacement.

I had to order a new screen, touch ID button, battery and chassis to complete the repair.

The new screen came with small parts and included a new front camera assembly and earpiece also.

After a long swap around I've entered the testing phase which I'm pleased to be at.

I've now encounters two problems:

1) new front camera doesn't work with new screen or with old one.

2) restart loop every 4 minutes.

I managed to update to iOS 11 if DFU mode.

Could the restart problem be due to the camera not working? I've cleaned the contacts both sides but still no joy.

Any wisdom will be greatly appreciated!

disconnect the camera and home button to see if it will boot normally as either 1 could be at fault, if not then you will need to start looking at other things like the battery, power flex and charge port etc

I done a process of elimination, I disconnected each in turn after it restarted again.

Camera

home button

on/off, volume flex.

charging port.

Only ones still connected were the back facing camera, screen 2x flexs and the battery and it still restarts after 3 minutes.

I purchased another battery just in case and it still does exactly the same. Completly at a loss now.

try a different lcd as it could be faulty

Restarting issue is usually the small components (4 horizontal ones parallel) for gas gauge battery information knocked off right above the battery connector on the logic board.

It looks like there is missing some of the small components between the battery connector and the heat plate. Also the water damage indicator on the plate looks red? (water damaged?)
