Buying front parts separately?

So from what Ive read, the LCD is glued on the digitizer. I got a crack on the digitizer, so i wanna replace the digitizer.

Is it possible to go the cheap way and buy the parts separately?

Part 1) Bezel (black frame) and digitizer

Part 2) LCD screen

and then put them together? Without gluing, that would save the the high price if i break it AGAIN.

Get what i mean? :|

Im looking for cheap replacements really.

Skytheria, read this What type of adhesive or glue can I use for the lcd & glass? and this Can I separate the glass from the LCD screen? and this.Replacing iPhone 4 front assembly piece by piece? well I bet you get the picture of what I am trying to point out. You want to go inexpensive, and who doesn't, go with mayer's link. You will find that there are those on here that say it can be done, and those that like to do it the proper way. In my opinion of course. Also, have you ever tried to remove the glass and the LCD from the iphone as separated pieces in case you have to repair it? Can get tough to pull that LCD out. Just my 2 cents and good luck to you.
