System won't start any more. The diagnostic LED's aren't lit

Good morning, my name is Andrea and I'm a hardware technician at the Ministry of Finance in Rome.

I have a iMac i5 2011 that does not start anymore. The diagnostic LEDs do not even light up. I changed the power supply but nothing.

I realized that the damage is on the motherboard. Is there a fuse or capacitor I can control?

thank you

Ciao! Andrea. Is this a 21.5" model or the larger 27"?

@andrea71 what is the 820-xxxx number on your logic board?

by

is a 21.5 model, today i put a new power supply and now only lights up the led 501, the mac start and goes off but then turns off then turns on then goes off continuously and the fans go to the maximum.

by

It stays on with the new power supply? You should have a model number on the logic board that starts with 820- you need to look really close to see it. The fans should rev up when you turn it on without the lcd.

my model number is 820-2641-A
