Why has my phone gone into Odin mode?

My phone just went into Odin mode without even connecting the USB or anything. Now my phone just went dead, and i don't know what to do! HELP! I really need to use my phone. Any help would be greatly appreciate.

its either you pressed the Volume down, power and home button together or its odin failure
