Xbox 360 console it powers up, but dvd player isnt working.

I recently installed a replaceable dvd player and also swab dvd driver board so it would recognize the replaceable dvd, I turned it on to play, the tray opened halfway and it closed itself repeatly for a few times. So I powered down . I slide the tray completely off the dvd. And so I put it back. Now I powered up, everything comes on but, I don't hear or see the dvd player doing anything, I try to listen to hear it?.nothing. it's like nothing works on the dvd.. and the center light keeps blinking.

so I'm stuck for now. If anyone has a answer. Please asap. Let me know..
