$400 1981 Porsche 924 - How much to fix and any major issues?

Found this car on Copart and it instantly caught my attention. It's a 1981 Porsche 924. Porsche is one of my favorite brands, so I instantly clicked on it. It looks like it needs a front bumper, a (VERY) good paint job and some cosmetic things. Best part is that its only $400- but its $714 to flatbed it to my house. Worth it?

Hi, first I realize this post is 2 years old but, I’m trying to help your future lol. I hope you didn’t buy it? It’s going to cost more than you realize. It’s only good as a track car and it’s got the 2litre so it’s underpowered. Also, it looks like it’s no longer straight so, it will never drive proper on track or street. I have owned an early 85 944 an 88 turbo 944 a 92 928S4 and a 76 911S track car. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me!

That sounds like an exciting find - a classic Porsche 924 for only $400 is quite a steal! Cosmetic fixes can also vary in price depending on what needs to be done. However, if you're willing to put in the time and money, restoring a classic car can be a really fun and rewarding project. And if Porsche is one of your favorite brands, it sounds like this could be a great opportunity for you!

A classic Porsche 924 for only $400 is a real find no matter in what condition it is. i guess more preferable is only to get Prius available on abetter.bid right now. The prices are just insane, can't believe it.
