How can I fix my PlayStation 3 controller? (I'VE TRIED EVERYTHING!)

Yesterday, I brought a new controller for my ps3 and connected it to the Ps3, but when I disconnected it and tried to connect it without it usb cable, it caused a problem where it never connected to the Ps3 and every time I press the PS button, it just switches light to Light 1,2 or 3. The controller is still doing hat and not turning off! Anyway to fix it?

When you say “it just switches light to Light 1,2 or 3” do you mean that the light keeps moving from 1, 2, and 3? If so, it is searching for the playstation to make a wireless connection, but it isn’t finding it. Try plugging in the controller, getting it to connect (one of the numbers on top will light up and stay lit), then unplug the controller.
