Replace keyboard MacBook Pro 13' 2015 - Do I need to take off the batt

I have a MacBook Pro retina 13' 2015, I got water on my keyboard and ordered a replacement because some keys no longer work.

I would like to know if I need to take off the battery or trackpad to replace the only the keyboard and backlights?

Thanks

Yes, you do need to remove the battery to replace the keyboard. It overlaps the keyboard.
