Broke the lightning connector - parts stuck in logicboard

Hi.

My phone won't charge. I replaced the battery and the phone lasted for some time (20% remaining on new battery). Then I bought a new dock connector to try. The problem is that when I disconnected this, half of it got stuck in the connector.

Is this repairable? I have not been able to pull the parts out with my 0,8mm flat screwdriver.

Any advice and help is much appreciated!

try a set of fine point tweezers

Bought some tweezers. Didn't help and I guess it's getting more and more damaged now...

Will this repair be comparable that of the Tristar replacement then? Maybe a repair shop that does microsoldering can do them both(?)

Thank you for your reply, daniel.

you will just need someone that can microsolder to remove the old connector and solder on a new 1

It seems like corrosion made those connectors stick. You have to replace that connector and inspect around logic board to make sure there is no more damage on the logic board. If you are not a micro solderer id recommend finding a shop who can help!
