iPhone4 won't turn on after battery replacement

1) I ordered this battery for my iPhone4

iPhone 4 Battery

2) First the battery connector is not aligning with the screw point it is slightly dis-positioned

3) Secondly the phone doesn't turn on after replacement

For now I have connected back the original battery and iPhone 4 is working now. Please assist me with what could have gone wrong? Should I return the order?

Options

Id return the new battery and ask for a new one.

Might be an error with the new battery since the old one is working.

I agree with this. If the battery doesn't plug in firmly and feels loose then the battery is probably bad.
