Computer won't power up!

The power button on my laptop has ceased to function! Any ideas on how to power it up? Also I'm running a Thunderbolt display and this has been recharging the laptop - help please! Thanks.

I think this problem might be related to the Thunderbolt display?

Anyway, as I mentioned, if anyone else has this problem the fix is:

press and hold Shift/Control/Option/Command and then the power button.

Thanks Dan - no such spills :-)

I since found the remedy: press Shift/Control/Option/Command and the power button. I've never been more relieved to hear the startup tone!
