after my iBook warms up display gets covered with fine horizontal line
Is this the same problem as a black screen?
I can still make out the graphics behind the lines ,but it is blurry.
Is this a good question?

Hi James, first we must know if your ibook problem is logic board related (graphic card) or screen related. Please connect the ibook to an external monitor and tell us if you see the same lines than on the ibook screen. If so you'll have to replace the logic board. If not then the screen video cable (LVDS) may be damaged or not seated adequately or the LCD panel is faulty.
