upgrading MacBook 4,1 penryn logic board

Hi, i have a black macbook 4,1 Penryn which is the love of my life, I've had it for nearly 10 years and I've upgraded it to have 2 X 500GB SSDs, maxed out its RAM at 4GB and replaced the inverter cable, but its starting to get a little slow so I was wondering if it is possible to upgrade the logic board beyond the macbook core 2 duo architecture?

I am aware that it can go up to the 5,2 logic board which allows later OSX compatibility but surely there's a way of finding or building a better logic board which could be housed in this case? Even if it means replacing the SSDs / connectors / trackpad / inverter, as long as it is possible!

Thanks in advance

In the 1181 there are only two machine produced after it:

Apple MacBook "Core 2 Duo" 2.4 13" (Black-08) Specs

Identifiers: Early 2008 - MB404LL/A - MacBook4,1 - A1181 - 2242

And they Geekbench slower than yours.

You can however, upgrade the RAM

Standard RAM: 2 GB Maximum RAM: 6 GB*

Details: 2 GB of RAM is installed as two 1 GB modules, no slots free.

*Apple officially supports a maximum of 4 GB of RAM but third-parties have been able to upgrade the system to 6 GB of RAM using one 2 GB and one 4 GB memory module.
