Why doesn't my iPhone 6 turn on after screen replacement?

So my screen was completely cracked a couple of weeks ago, and I decided to replace it myself, because I heard it was easy and cheaper.

The display isn't the problem, and I know that because both (my original and new) displays don't "turn on".

So I decided to read some questions and answers to see what was up.

I read that you have to hold the power, home, and volume up buttons to get to a screen that tells you to plug your phone into iTunes, and restore it.

So, I did just that, and iTunes couldn't update the phone, nor restore it.

So, I kept reading. I found that you have to unplug the front camera cable, and it should turn on.

I did unplug it, but it wouldn't turn on.

I plugged my phone back into iTunes, and it couldn't update, but it could restore, so I decided I should restore my phone.

After restoration (factory reset), it worked fine, except Touch ID wouldn't work, which I would deal with later.

The next night, however, I forgot to plug in my phone, and my phone died.

Now, my phone is doing the same thing, it is stuck in a complete boot loop.

I got it to the restore screen, but I don't want to restore it again if I can help it.

Essentially, my question is...

Do I keep restoring my phone when it dies, or is there another way for me to activate my phone? Any advice would be useful. Thanks.

It sounds more like a battery/charge issue. Can you measure the voltage from the battery (at the connector). It should read at least 3.5V in order to boot the phone. Something obviously went wrong when you replaced the screen. Can you remember anything out of the ordinary, like a spark or burnt smell?

If it is stuck in DFU mode its possible the only way out of it is the restore. Once its up and running make sure any new updates are done. Most of the time a bootloop situation is caused by a conflict in the firmware or the phone is not getting feedback/signal from a component thats necessary during the boot. For instance on the iPhone 7/7+ it will bootloop if you are testing a new screen and do not have the front camera flex and ORIGINAL home button plugged in. It sounds like you've had multiple issues since the screen replacement. If you havent already tried one, a new battery may be a good idea if your still sporting the original. I've seen all kinds of issues come from from faulty batteries including boot issues and even app failures. I once had a customer lose all message threads after a battery replacement with a cheap battery from eBay. It had other battery issues, so we put an OEM in and all the messages came back..... weird. Hopefully some of this info is helpful.
