Dropped Nexus 5 and now will not pick up cell reception.

I dropped my phone (NEXUS 5) and now it is not able to find the cellular network. SIM card is working, but my signal strength is at 0.

Everything else about the phone works absolutely perfectly, including WIFI, bluetooth, NFC, screen....

Because of this it is unlikely that the motherboard has been affected. I'm just wondering for the nexus 5, what are ALL the parts which are required to allow the radio to work. Is the actual antenna on the back cover of the phone or is it on the bottom area where the speaker and charge port is located.

I referred to the iFixit guide

the antenna should look similar to this in general (not a nexus antenna):

the antenna on the back cover is most likely an NFC (im imagining a paperlike thin wide thing)

check the antenna connection, reseat the SIM.
